WEDDING UPDATES AT AMAZING DREAMS

Both
Canada and Spain have taken the
bull, or perhaps bulldyke, by
the horns and legalized Gay Marriage
in their countries. We were sent
an amazing speech by Socialist
Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez
Zapatero. His speech is so beautiful,
it brought tears to all of our
eyes. It is such a powerful message,
that we put it on our website

Make

that the Spanish parliamentarians
gave lesbians and gays a standing
ovation, and we were all sobbing
at our desks by the time we got

JULY
WEB STATS
In July we had 93,868 visits and
2,469,089 accesses--another record-breaking
month! Thanks to all for spreading
the word about our services in
the chatrooms and to your email
lists; and double thanks to everyone
who has placed links to us from
your websites. Because of you,
we are reaching thousands of women
worldwide. Today, our websites
are number 1, 2, and 5 out of
171,000 websites on Google when
searching for Lesbian Ecards,
and when you search for Lesbian
Coming Out, we are number 2 out
of 3,230,000! Thinking we must
be doing something right, because
the site and what we are providing
for women worldwide is finally
getting out there!
NEW SERVICES
This month we have also partnered
with Match.com
to bring you the best in lesbian
dating. We have new Goddess
Ecards from Tracey,
and new New
Sensual World Ecards
by renowned erotic artist, Liz
Starr. We have a new GLBT
Comic Strip by
Strangechild Productions, and
a great new Worldwide Lesbians-with-STDs-Support-Group.

OUR
LESBIAN NETWORKING GROUPS
And speaking of groups, we now
have a total of 58 Lesbian
Networking Groups--one
in every US state, and several
more in English Speaking Countries.
These groups have only been online
since May, and we already have
over 1,000 members!
Our group in Asheville, NC, which
is not sponsored by Amazing Dreams
but gave us the idea to have networking
groups in every state, has picnics,
biweekly coffee house meetings,
and is in the process of organizing
a pride parade in Asheville for
next October! These women are
on the move, and they are making
a huge difference in our community.
This is what we are hoping will
eventually happen in our Networking
Groups across the world! We have
big dreams here, and so far they
are paying off in a really amazing
way.
CALL
FOR MODERATORS
Because our Networking groups
are growing so fast, we now have
16 wonderful women who have volunteered
as moderators for their state's
Networking group. If you are an
honest, caring, woman who would
like to volunteer some time for
your community, please join your
state's, or country's, Lesbian
Networking Group
and then email the List Owner
that you would like to volunteer
as moderator. The email address
for the List Owner is listed under
Group Email Addresses at the bottom
of the Networking Groups home
page. The following groups now
have moderators: IN, FL, CO, TX,
MN, PA, NC, MD, MS, OH, Canada,
VT, RI, W VA, NY, VA, but we have
42 more that need good women to
make sure that the groups are
a safe space with no men joining
or lurking. Being a moderator
also means you get to meet lots
of women from your local areas,
a perfect way to make new friends
or more : )
SUPPORT
GROUP FOR OUR MODERATORS
To help our moderators, we also
have opened a group just for them.
As a member of the LESBIAN NETWORK
MODERATORS group, you can get
support and information to help
you run your group both smoothly
and successfully. All the members
of this group have been very supportive
of each other, and are sharing
ideas and information on a daily
basis.

NOTE TO OUR MODERATORS FROM OUR
FOUNDER, TRACEY STEVENS:

every country you can imagine,

For Lesbians Coming Out Group.

we have given support to women
who are in countries where being
a lesbian or bisexual woman
could mean being executed by
their own government. We have
been a shoulder for women living
in rural areas, where being
a lesbian could get you shot
and buried in someone's back
yard, and we have helped women
who are feeling suicidal because
of the negativity they have
encountered from prejudiced
people. We are making a difference
in these women's lives, and
in helping them we are all helping
ourselves.
"You may not realize how
important these networking and
support groups are, but I can
tell you that I have seen miracles
happen in women's lives just
because of our coming out support
group, and I believe that these
Networking Groups will have
a huge impact on your communities
in the future."
SUPPORT
FOR LESBIANS COMING OUT GROUP
Our Lesbian/Bi
Woman Online Support Group
now has 215 members from all over
the world. Here's a recent comment
from one of our members:

a 43 year old Black/mixed Lesbian
Femme from the Dallas/Fort Worth
area. I'm really glad to be
part of an wonderful group for
"Ladies in the life,"
and that I have a place to go
where we can talk, discuss,
debate or whatever and respect
everyone's opinion. I've always
loved girls when I was little,
and as I was growing up it was
women. It has to be for a really
good reason, because it is who
I am--proud to be a Lesbian!
We need more groups like this
that are worthwhile to join.
We love women, and we shouldn't
be shunned or ostracized for
it by society at large. I was
born a Lesbian and that is who
I am and always will be. Thanks
for letting me be part of this
great group!"
