SEPTEMBER
WEB STATS
In September we had 43,676
visits and 1,169,218 accesses--another
incredible month! Our
monthly report from TrustGage,
shows another huge increase from
last month, with our site jumping
863 forward in the ranking of
all websites in the world! Our
link popularity has also jumped
1,970 in one month, which is excellent
progress:
October
is National Coming Out Month!
National Coming Out Day is
Oct. 11, 2009. This is the
anniversary of the 1987 Gay
and Lesbian March on Washington.
Over 500,000 people from all
over the country marched for
our rights, and this event
is still honored every year.
National Coming Out Day events
are aimed at raising awareness
of the LGBT community among
the general populace in an
effort to give a familiar
face to the LGBT rights movement.
What
this means, is that once again
it's time to burst forth from
our closets! To celebrate
this lovely In-Your-Face month,

SUPPORT
FOR LESBIANS COMING OUT GROUP
Our Lesbian/BI
Women Online Support Group
now has 828 members from all
over the world, and just this
month we had women join who
are living in England and
Africa! Here's a recent comment
from one of our members:

initially joined because
I felt like I was stumbling
around in the dark with
questions I did not have
answers to. I had to watch
and read in silence for
a considerable amount of
time before engaging in
any conversations being
very concerned for anonymity
and such. Quite skeptical,
and very hesitant and doubtful,
I have since learned that
the individuals in here
are concerned, knowledgeable,
and truly care about everyone
in the group no matter what
stage the individual may
be in. They will be very
conscientious about the
privacy and well-being of
its members. Whether you

to help, support, listen,
and speak truthfully with
you in an honorable and
caring fashion."
