September 2006 Forecast

"Call out the instigators because there's something in the air. We got to get together sooner or later because the Revolution's here and you know it's right--and you know that it's right!"

I didn't even know that today was the 35th anniversary of Woodstock, as I sit here writing with Richie Havens singing Freedom in the background from the movie of that great fest. No wonder I am hearing musical refrains in my head, no doubt from leftover flashbacks of getting soaked to my skin, over and over, that weekend in the mud.

Interesting that now there are astrological aspects similar to some from that era. These aspects are kicking in those feelings of altruism, righteous rebellion, and hopefulness, and all of these feelings are set against the ever increasing heavy metal rattling of sabers from the War machines, grinding away at the innocent around the world.

Being a child of the 60's, majoring in insurrection and rock-n-roll back in the day, I can feel that tugging on my spirit, yet on a higher spiral. At this time, we are being given the opportunity to awaken and crack open those Akashic Record books and write some new pages.

As Pluto goes direct this month, all that has been withheld will come flooding forward on many levels. This can be both good and bad news. New portals will open to allow greater power to manifest. With that change, there will be the need for the elevation of humanity to utilize these energies properly.

As we learned huddling next to each other in the mud, with electric guitars screaming through the night those 35 years ago, "We Get By With a Little Help From Our Friends." Now, far from those gentler days, we need to hold on to real friends with both hands.

There will be a very high emotional tide starting on September 7th. The Full Piscean Moon and Lunar Eclipse will be tap-dancing with the ever rambunctious planet Uranus--planet of revolution and revelation--insuring that the unusual, erratic, and erotic can come flying out of left field. As a matter of fact, if it's not coming out of left field it probably isn't coming at all.

Eclipses can be tricky critters, literally wiping out energies and circumstances that the particular degree of the event touches. For instance, this eclipse will be at 14 degrees of Pisces, with Uranus settling in at 12 degrees of Pisces. Anyone with their Sun, Moon, or rising, or even their personal planets such as Venus and Mars, on or close to these degrees, are going to feel an even stronger effect from the eclipse. In addition, anyone with those same degrees, 12-14 degrees of Virgo, Sag., or Gemini, will likely to feel somewhat more overwhelmed, confused, in the dark, or plain wiped out, until the next full moon when these vibrations settle down.

AllI can say is to fasten your seat-belts, 'cause it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

I, for one, am ready to break out of these old patterns that have held my world in check for a very long time. Patience may be a virtue for some, but for me it just feels like an excuse not to go for it. The summer heat has warmed my spirits from too many cold shoulders, and now it seems like all doors are open, and the lights have changed from red to green. Still, a little red light wouldn't be too bad right about now.
