FOR A NEW GROUNDBREAKING DOCUMENTARY SERIES ON COMING OUT
Award-winning documentary film company seeks individuals interested in having their personal coming out experience captured on camera, allowing us to reveal through the honest representation of your story the complexities and conflicts involved. We believe these stories are a vital part of history, and one that has not been given nearly enough recognition. We would like to hear from as many people as possible in order to capture the joys and tribulations of coming out. Specifically, we are NOT looking for traditional "coming out" stories i.e.: Teen coming out stories. We would like to focus on how people at various stages deal with the day to day coming out process -- and we would love to find people in their 30's 40's, 50's, 60's or 70's who would share their stories.

If you are selected, we will fly to your area, tape on-camera interviews with you, and spend a couple of days filming your life. Also, please forward information about yourself, Including: your name, where you live, your number and e-mail, to whom and how you plan to come out and a photo if possible. As we are on a tight deadline, we hope to hear from you soon.

Award-winning documentary film company seeks individuals residing in the United States who are interested in having their current personal coming out experiences chronicled in our new series. We are especially hoping for a response from men and women in their mid/late 20s-80s who may have come out in the past, but are dealing with the lifelong process of coming out on a day to day basis in new situations. We believe these stories are a vital part of history, and one that has not been given nearly enough recognition. We understand that this is a delicate and private issue, but are hoping that people would be interested in sharing their current stories with us.

The show is being produced by the Simon & Goodman Picture Company - an Oscar nominated and Emmy award winning film company in New York. We have produced numerous noncommercial projects for nonprofit organizations that were funded by grants or charities.

Locks of Love about a Florida based organization that collects hair donations from people all over the country to produce - free of charge- hairpieces for children who've lost their hair from cancer treatment or other diseases.

Heart of a Child an HBO documentary which follows the emotional story of a child in need of a heart and lung transplant. The Telephone is the story of an invention that forever changed the way the world interacts.

The American Experience a PBS history series. The Incredible Human Body explores the complexities of the human body and follows the growth of the body from infancy to old age. (National Geographic Film) Buckminster Fuller

27th and Prospect: One Year in the Fight Against Drugs was broadcast as part of HBO's "Faces of Addiction" series. This was a portrait of an inner city neighborhood's struggle to combat the perils of substance abuse.

The Children Storefront about a remarkable school in Harlem that literally takes kids off the streets and strives to give them a first-class education -- fighting poverty through education.

The coming out series will not be a voyeuristic type of show, and participants don't go into a studio. We send our film crew out to you.
